Pastor's Corner…

OFF FOR THE SUMMER
Our choirs: The Adult and the Voices of Glory Choir members are off for the summer and we thank them for  their dedication and ministry through the year especially for their  dedication at choir practices every Thursday.

We are so grateful to Bruce Orr’s dedication and talents and commitment for being our choir conductor for 11:00am Mass. After 4 years of conducting the choir, it is time for him to let other’s perform this special and wonderful ministry.  Bruce will still be part of the Adult choir.

We are also grateful to Cathy Ventrella’s angelic voice at 5pm Mass. Cathy is heading to University in Windsor this Fall and we thank her for her wonderful dedication and commitment for 5 years as a  choir member and we wish her all the best. God Bless and Good Luck!

We also thank Anna DiLiddo and her team for their wonderful leaderships and ministry to our children during the Children’s Liturgy at 9:00am Mass. The Children’s Liturgy will resume in September.

We are also grateful to Eugenie Landry for her time and talents in providing us an updated website every week. The website looks wonderful! You do a wonderful job!

LECTORS, EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS, USHERS AND ALTAR SERVERS:
Thank you so much for your untiring support to our community in serving in different ministries. As the summer goes on, we may have some time of relaxation for our selves, but we still need your help in serving our community during this summer.  Please stop by in the sacristy as you come in to see if we need some help….

For all of you: God Bless and Thank you

FAREWELL SCHOOL  END  And CONGRATULATIONS!!

To the Grade 8’s who will be graduating this year from St. Brigid’s and St. Mark’s School. We as a community are proud of your accomplishments and pray that God will bless all your future endeavors.

The end of school does not mean the end of church! I encourage all our families to continue (or as the case may be, to renew ) their commitment to participate in Mass each weekend, including vacation weekends during the summer. Our responsibility to give witness to our faith in Jesus Christ by celebrating the Holy Eucharist together with a community of faith here or elsewhere, extends all-year long and all-life long, summers included!

May the Holy Spirit lead us in sustaining a holy, faithful parish community, for unless the Lord build the house, they labor in vain who build it.
